Online mixing and mastering for your finished recording

Mixing works on the individual tracks of a song. Mastering normally starts from the approved stereo mix. Working remotely, you can send material, review versions and give feedback without travelling to the studio.

Is this the right request for you?

You have recorded vocal and instrument tracks and want help from a rough mix to the final audio delivery, wherever in the world you record.

Not automatically included

Songwriting, new recordings, cover design and distribution are not automatically part of an audio order. Mention them separately if you need them.

Do you have a stereo file or separate tracks?

If all you have is a finished stereo mix, mastering is usually the relevant request. If you want to change the relationship between vocals, drums and instruments, separate audio tracks are normally needed. A song that already feels finished does not automatically need a new mix.

Start with a listening link and tell us what you want to improve. Also mention whether the recording contains noise, clipping or takes that need editing. Those details affect what is actually possible and how the job needs to be scoped.

Keep the character of the song in your exports

Agree on export instructions before you upload the full project. Every separate file should start at the same timeline position and keep its reverb tails at the end. Include a rough mix so that important effects and arrangement decisions are not lost in the handover.

Flag any processing that is part of the sound. If you want both a dry and an effected lead vocal, ask which exports are most useful. Avoid sending several unclearly named alternatives without saying which version should be used.

One contact person and clear feedback

Collect notes with version numbers and timecodes. Write, for example, that the lead vocal should feel closer in the second verse, rather than that the whole mix should simply sound bigger. References become more useful when you explain what you like about them.

Confirm scope, price, revision rounds and delivery formats before work starts. Once the mix is approved, the project moves on to the agreed mastering and final check. Changed recordings after approval may count as a new piece of work.

Checklist for your request

  • A listening link and the correct mix version.
  • Number of songs and roughly how many audio tracks.
  • References and a concrete description of the sound you want.
  • Any need for editing, tuning or alternative versions.
  • The date you need the audio files – not just the release date.

Price, scope, schedule, revision rounds and usage rights are confirmed for each job. Sending a request does not place an order. Our contact form is in Swedish, but you are welcome to write in English.

Questions about mixing and mastering

Can I book mastering only?

Yes. Say that you have a finished stereo mix, and the request can cover mastering without a new mix of separate tracks.

How much does remote mixing and mastering cost?

The pricing page lists current packages in Swedish kronor. The number of songs, the condition of the material and extra tasks affect the scope; the final price and what is included are confirmed in the quote.

Can I also get an instrumental and an a cappella?

Ask for the versions you need in your first message. They are not automatically part of every job and need to be listed in the delivery description.
